Get to know me a little better
Hello, I am Sofia, and I am so glad you're here!
I was born and raised in Casablanca, and grew up speaking Arabic and French. English is my third language (and fun fact: I didn’t become fluent until college). My background and love for different cultures shape the way I see people, connection, and storytelling.
At my core, I’ve always been a creator. I love creating experiences, memories, and meaning—whether that’s through travel, home-cooked meals shared with loved ones, quiet moments in nature, or photographs that that capture life in its most honest form. Creativity shows up in almost everything I do, and photography is where it all comes together.
Becoming a mom deepened my relationship with photography in ways I never expected. My son has been one of my greatest inspirations, teaching me just how fleeting childhood really is. I know firsthand how quickly moments pass—the giggles, the curiosity, the chaos, the tenderness—and how important it is to document them as they are. Real. Unposed. Honest.
That’s also why families feel at ease with me. I follow children’s lead, meet them where they are, and let moments unfold naturally. Whether that means curiosity, silliness, quiet observation, or yes—even the occasional toddler meltdown. I don’t rush or force perfection. I look for connection.
My style is best described as candid and storytelling-driven. I’m drawn to genuine expressions and in-between moments—the way a parent reaches for their child’s hand, the sparkle in a shared glance, the small interactions that quietly say everything. These are the moments that often go undocumented, yet end up meaning the most.
I feel incredibly grateful that so many families trust me to capture their story in a way that feels true to them. It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love to create with you—turning today’s moments into memories you’ll cherish for years to come.
Come join me, my crazy curls, and my camera !
